Blaster’s Basket is a food pantry on campus that provides free food & toiletries to all Orediggers in need. Thanks to partnerships with local organizations, Blaster’s Basket is often able to provide fresh meat, fruit, and vegetables, in addition to the non-perishable items that are always available.Ìý
Location: Ben H. Parker Student Center, Student Lounge W150.
Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 p.m
How to contribute to Blaster’s Basket:
- Non-perishable foods (please check expiration dates)Ìý can be dropped off in the pantry in our green donation box.

Swipe Out HungerÌý
Student Outreach & Support and the BlasterCard Office have partnered with Sodexo at Â鶹´«Ã½ School of Mines to provide meal swipes to students who are experiencing food insecurity.Ìý
Sodexo’s SOH program creates a Meal Swipe Bank that provides meal swipes for students with food insecurity for redemption of residential dining meals.Ìý
Student Outreach and Support will use the form below to allow students to apply for blocks of 5, 10 or 15 meals in the Mine Market.Ìý SOS Case Managers will connect with students to assess their short-term and long-term food needs.

The Mines Park Extension is a family housing community located 3/4 miles from campus. Mines Park residents have access to the community kitchens where families are able to prepare meals. |
