Seeking Nominations for the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Innovators Hall of Fame
The Juneau Economic Development Council and the University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ are pleased to join the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ State Committee for Research (SCoR) in encouraging nominations for the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Innovators Hall of Fame.
The Âé¶¹´«Ã½ State Committee for Research (SCoR) created the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Innovators Hall of Fame in 2014 to celebrate and honor outstanding individuals who put Âé¶¹´«Ã½ on the map as leaders in innovation and to contribute to Âé¶¹´«Ã½â€™s growing culture of innovation.
SCoR invites interested persons to nominate outstanding innovators to be inducted into the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Innovators Hall of Fame. Nominees who are selected by SCoR will be members of the 2021 class and will be inducted at the Innovation Summit held in Juneau in February 2021. Nominations must be submitted no later than November 15, 2020. Nominees must have been an Âé¶¹´«Ã½ resident for at least one year, or have made a significant demonstration of the innovation’s links to Âé¶¹´«Ã½ or have conducted research work in Âé¶¹´«Ã½.
Âé¶¹´«Ã½ is a proving ground for new technology and Âé¶¹´«Ã½ns lead the way in developing science and technology to meet the challenges of the Great Land. It is Âé¶¹´«Ã½n ingenuity and a vast tradition of innovation that will benefit Âé¶¹´«Ã½â€™s future.
