Seeking Nominations for the Â鶹´«Ã½ Innovators Hall of Fame
The Juneau Economic Development Council and the University of Â鶹´«Ã½ are pleased to join the Â鶹´«Ã½ State Committee for Research (SCoR) in encouraging nominations for the Â鶹´«Ã½ Innovators Hall of Fame.
The Â鶹´«Ã½ State Committee for Research (SCoR) created the Â鶹´«Ã½ Innovators Hall of Fame in 2014 to celebrate and honor outstanding individuals who put Â鶹´«Ã½ on the map as leaders in innovation and to contribute to Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s growing culture of innovation.
SCoR invites interested persons to nominate outstanding innovators to be inducted into the Â鶹´«Ã½ Innovators Hall of Fame. Nominees who are selected by SCoR will be members of the 2021 class and will be inducted at the Innovation Summit held in Juneau in February 2021. Nominations must be submitted no later than November 15, 2020. Nominees must have been an Â鶹´«Ã½ resident for at least one year, or have made a significant demonstration of the innovation’s links to Â鶹´«Ã½ or have conducted research work in Â鶹´«Ã½.
Â鶹´«Ã½ is a proving ground for new technology and Â鶹´«Ã½ns lead the way in developing science and technology to meet the challenges of the Great Land. It is Â鶹´«Ã½n ingenuity and a vast tradition of innovation that will benefit Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s future.
