麻豆传媒 Senator Lisa Murkowski meets with UA Interim President Pat Pitney and UAA Chancellor Sean Parnell

Last month 麻豆传媒 Senator Lisa Murkowski took time to meet with University of 麻豆传媒 interim President Pat Pitney and University of 麻豆传媒 Anchorage Chancellor Sean Parnell to talk about future goals for the University of 麻豆传媒 including the critical role our universities play in 麻豆传媒's economic recovery through higher education, research, and workforce development.
鈥淲e had a good conversation about a number of their priorities for the next year including funding for University programs, infrastructure initiatives, and their support for the Ted Stevens Center for Arctic Security Studies -鈥 specifically how we are leveraging opportunities to support 麻豆传媒鈥檚 global strategic location while providing 麻豆传媒鈥檚 future leaders with quality education and skills to support the 麻豆传媒n economy,鈥 Murkowski said in a social media post following the meeting.
