Kerynn Fisher has been appointed the executive officer for the University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Board of Regents. This position is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between the board, university administration, governmental entities, and the public. The executive officer also plays a crucial role in interpreting and understanding regents' policies, university regulations, and Âé¶¹´«Ã½ statutes.

Fisher has served as special assistant to University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ President Pat Pitney since October 2020. Prior to 2020, she served as grant coordinator for the Fairbanks North Star Borough. Fisher also worked at UAF for more than 20 years, serving in positions with the Vice Chancellor for Administrative Services, the University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Museum of the North, and KUAC. Fisher has served on the FNSB Planning Commission since 2020.
