Introducing the new Student Regent: Kali Spencer

Kali Spencer was appointed as the Student Regent in 2021 by Governor Dunleavy. Regent Spencer is from Eagle River, Â鶹´«Ã½, and has a long history of representing students, having served as the student representative on the Anchorage School District School Board, student body president of Eagle River High School, president of the Â鶹´«Ã½ Association of Student Governments, and as the current student body president of the University of Â鶹´«Ã½ Southeast.

Regent Spencer is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Liberal Arts in interdisciplinary studies with emphasis in political science, psychology, and philosophy.
